Q: How do I schedule my first appointment?
A: Call 908-688-8628 to schedule your first appointment. We will be happy to verify your insurance coverage prior to initiating consultation.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are conveniently located near route 22 and 78 and the Garden State Parkway. We are located at 2714 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ, between Liberty and Moessner Avenues.  Our clinic is a stand alone white, one-story building with a black roof.  We have a private parking lot which is entered through the back, off of Moessner Avenue. 

Q: Do I need a prescription or referral from my Physician to attend Physical Therapy?
A: New Jersey has direct access to Physical Therapy. Therefore, by law a prescription is not required to receive treatment. Please contact the office to determine if your plan requires a prescription/referral.
Q: What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
A: Please bring your therapy prescription, your medical insurance card, and any relevant medical information (X-ray, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Operative reports).

Q: What should I expect on my first visit and how long will it last?
A: During your first visit a licensed therapist will take your history, and perform a thorough evaluation. You will likely begin your treatment on the first day so allow approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment. We will make a copy of your insurance card and have you sign any necessary paperwork at that time.

Q: What do I wear?
A: Since most therapy sessions involve some form of exercise, wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area(s) that will be evaluated and treated.
Q: Where should I park for Rehabilitation appointments?
A: Our private parking lot is accessed from  Moessner Avenue, in the back of our building.  The parking lot runs along the side of our building and exits onto Morris Avenue.

Q: Can I bring family with me to my appointments?
A: Family members involved in the care of the patient are welcome to attend the initial evaluation, and when appropriate, observe or participate in the actual treatment. Out of respect for our other patients’ privacy, family members may be asked to wait in designated areas.

Q: Should I stay with my child during his/her treatment?
A: We encourage adults bringing children for physical therapy to remain throughout the child’s treatment. A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under the age of 18 on their first visit to provide “Consent to Treat.”
